Buying a new e-moto isn't cheap. Insuring it can hurt even more. New electric motorcycle brand Avenrà is offering the first customers of its flagship EVO sport bike 12 months of fully comprehensive insurance included with the purchase, taking one of the biggest ownership headaches off the table for new riders.

Avenrà CEO Paul Cummins has told BCB he lost control of his EVO this weekend during a UK rideout that didn’t go to plan. Not a speed test or stunt attempt, just a roundabout, a diesel spill, and the kind of surface that turns grip into guesswork.

When Avenrà dropped off their EVO for testing, they had a lot to live up to. On paper, the spec sheet reads like someone ticked every option in the configurator. A full suite of rider tech, app connectivity, safety systems, and, thanks to the Hypercore1200 Track Pack they’d kindly fitted to our test mule, a claimed 50kW going straight to the back wheel with a 0–60 time of 2.9 seconds.

After a stretch refining their HyperCore system, Avenrà have now dropped the full spec sheet for their flagship A1-class superbike, the EVO, and it’s not sticking to the usual A1 rulebook.
