I founded Buck City Biker to create an independent source of electric motorcycle news, insight and information for riders who want to understand where motorcycling is heading.

I've been riding motorcycles for more than 26 years, since I first threw a leg over a grey-import Honda CBR400RR in 2000. Since then, I've ridden everything I could get my hands on. From road bikes and trail bikes to working quads on the farm where I grew up.

That background has shaped the way I look at motorcycles. I don't judge a bike by it's marketing campaign; I want to know what it's actually like to ride.

Today, my garage is fully electric. Not because I want to take sides in the petrol-versus-electric debate, but because I genuinely enjoy the riding experience. The instant torque, simplicity and ability to spend more time riding and less time maintaining a bike made the decision easy.

Buck City Biker focuses on electric motorcycles, but I'm still a rider first. If an interesting bike comes along, I'll ride it. Whether it's a new electric model, a piece of technology or simply a machine that catches my attention.

Through BCB, my goal is simple: cut through the marketing bs, look beyond the headlines and give riders honest insight into the machines shaping the future of motorcycling.
