The Evoke 6061-GT is a power cruiser that takes the electric motorcycle formula to some serious extremes. Its huge 29.8 kWh battery sits inside an aerospace aluminium exo-frame, while a 90 kW motor gives the 320 kg machine a claimed 230 km/h top speed.

The bikes actually shifting volume are largely the affordable, practical commuters. Bikes that solve a problem for riders. Now Evoke is going straight after that market with the new Nrgy 6 and 8.

Range, charging, speed and long-distance riding have all been sticking points for electric motorcycles. Evoke reckons it can tackle all four with one very large power cruiser.

The Evoke Urban S is an electric roadster built around a 10.04 kWh lithium-ion battery, 20 kW of peak power and a claimed 140 km/h top speed.
