The BCB Take

The Vortex is a big, low-slung electric motorcycle with a surprisingly accessible seat height and a substantial 8.2 kWh battery. Velca has given it enough performance to move well beyond the basic urban commuter category.
The 635 Nm wheel torque figure, 196 kg kerb weight and roadster styling give the Vortex plenty of presence, while the 5-inch TFT, Mirror Link, keyless start and dual USB connectivity bring the tech up to date. It isn't trying to look like a conventional electric motorcycle, and that's probably the point.
Ride safe, folks.
