A city ride where the loudest thing might be the conversations at the traffic lights.
Reload.Land is bringing its Silent Ride format to London this July, giving electric motorcycle riders a chance to get together and put some miles in as a group.
No Noise, Just Bikes
The Silent Ride is coming to the UK for the first time, following previous rides in Berlin, Paris and Milan. The idea is simple: electric motorcycle, scooter and moped riders meet up, ride together, and experience the city without the usual soundtrack of petrol engines.
The London ride is being supported by Maeving and will start from their flagship Showroom in East London.
Event Details:
Date: July 4th 2026
Meet: Maeving Showroom, 4-5 King John Court, London EC2A 3EZ
Arrival time: Around 19:30
Ride length: Approximately 12 miles
Duration: Around 90 minutes
Cost: Free
Who can join: Any electric motorcycle, scooter or moped rider. All brands welcome.

The plan is to meet at the showroom before heading out for an evening ride through London. Charging will also be available at the meeting point before the group sets off. More info can be found on Luma's Silent ride webpage.
The organisers describe it as less about promoting one particular bike and more about bringing together the growing electric two-wheel community.
For riders, the rules are pretty straightforward: bring an electric two-wheeler, ride responsibly, and turn up ready to be part of a group ride. It is not a race, a demo day or a brand parade, it's simply a chance to get electric riders out on the road together.
The BCB Take

Electric bikes have plenty of arguments happening around them. Range, charging, price and performance are all part of that discussion.
But one thing they are still building is culture. Motorcycling has always been about the people as much as the machines. The garage chats, the weekend rides and the random conversations at fuel stops are a big part of why people ride.
A silent group ride through London won’t suddenly change everyone’s opinion on electric motorcycles. But it does tackle one of the biggest missing pieces: getting riders together and creating a proper community
Because the motorcycle scene is built by people, not bikes.
Ride safe folks.
