The Piaggio 1 Active is the 2023, more powerful version of Piaggio's compact electric scooter, combining a 2.0 kWh battery with a 2.7 kW motor and a 60 km/h top speed. Piaggio quotes 80 km of range in Eco mode and 58 km under WMTC testing, with the 48 V battery taking around six hours to fully recharge at home.
It's a deliberately simple urban machine and a scooter designed to be easy to manoeuvre around town.

The Piaggio 1 Active isn't trying to be an electric motorcycle with a scooter body. It's a simple, lightweight urban scooter that gets on with the job, with a 60 km/h top speed, 80 km of claimed Eco range and a 2.0 kWh battery.
At 94 kg with the battery fitted, compact dimensions and reverse, it's built for exactly the kind of stop-start urban riding where keeping things simple matters. The six-hour home charge isn't going to win any drag races, but for a small commuter that spends its nights plugged in, it makes plenty of sense.
