Zero SR/F 20th Anniversary Edition: What Do You Actually Get?
Zero has given the SR/F the anniversary treatment, but what do you actually get for the extra money?
Zero Motorcycles is celebrating 20 years with a limited-edition SR/F, with 20 bikes heading to Europe and another 20 to North America. The anniversary edition carries a €2,000 premium over the regular 2027 SR/F.

What's Different About the Anniversary SR/F?
For starters, there's the Jet Black finish with gold detailing and anniversary graphics. The bike also gets a selection of special-edition hardware, including a carbon front mudguard, machined aluminium parts and tinted indicators.
There's also a set of TechSpec tank grip pads, fitted to the sides of the tank area where the rider's knees and thighs make contact. They're made from TechSpec's textured Snake Skin material, adding extra grip without changing the shape or fit of the bike.
Riders also get a 20th Anniversary gift bag as part of the bundle, because apparently even motorcycles need birthday presents.
The anniversary SR/F keeps the same 83 kW motor, 190 Nm of torque and 17.3 kWh battery as the regular bike. The Cypher III+ electronics and rider-assistance features are unchanged too. In other words, there's no extra performance hiding underneath the special-edition treatment.
So the extra €2,000 gets you the special finish, special-edition hardware, the anniversary extras and, of course, a place among just 40 owners worldwide.
The BCB TAKE
It's a familiar special-edition recipe, but at least you know exactly what you're paying for. If you want an SR/F that looks different, has some nicer bits fitted and is unlikely to be parked next to another one at your local bike meet, the anniversary edition gives you exactly that.
If bragging rights are what you're after, being one of just 40 SR/Fs certainly gives you something to talk about. But if seat time is the main goal, a regular SR/F will still keep pace when the lights go green.
