Stark has taken its road-legal VARG SM, covered almost everything in black and built just 500 of them.

The VARG SM Sköll gets the full 80 hp Alpha specification, titanium parts and a claimed 123.4 kg weight.

The VARG Goes Full Sköll

The Sköll isn't a new motorcycle underneath all that black. It uses the same 7.2 kWh battery, single-speed drive and basic VARG SM platform, but Stark has given it the full Alpha setup, including Dynamic Traction Control, fully adjustable SM suspension and Pirelli Diablo Rosso IV tyres.

The headline change is weight. Titanium footpegs and a titanium bolt kit cut a claimed 1.1 kg from the standard VARG SM, taking the Sköll down from 124.5 kg to 123.4 kg.

There's also a lot of black. The triple clamps, swingarm, motor housing, inverter and various other components get the blackout treatment, while the triple clamps carry the limited-edition engraving. There's also an Alcantara-style seat covering.

Underneath it all, you're still looking at an 80 hp electric supermoto with 914 Nm of rear-wheel torque and a 3.3 kW portable charger.

Only 500 will be made, with Stark saying there will be no second run. First deliveries are scheduled for late September/October 2026, depending on market.

The Sköll is priced at €14,990, US$14,990, £12,990 and AUD$21,990, depending on market. That's €2,000 more than the standard VARG SM in Italy, which is listed at €12,990.

The BCB Take

Let's be honest. You're not buying the Sköll because 1.1 kg is going to transform your lap times.

You're buying it because you want an 80 hp VARG SM with Alpha spec and the bragging rights of owning one of only 500. And that's perfectly fair.

The titanium bits will shave some weight and the full-spec hardware makes this a properly serious supermoto. But the biggest difference you'll notice on track or at the traffic lights is the fact that your bike is almost completely black.

And, let's face it, that's pretty cool.

Ride safe, folks.
