Another electric dirt bike has just cleared a test many riders thought was beyond its limits.
Lincoln Seidel has become the first rider to complete Australian Hard Enduro Gold Class aboard an electric motorcycle, taking an RFN Warrior E15 PLUS+ through one of off-road riding's tougher competitions.
A Test for Any Bike
Hard enduro is about as far from a controlled test environment as you can get. Just take at look our coverage of the Stark Varg at Erzbergrodeo. We're talking steep hill climbs, loose terrain, rocks, technical sections, and hours of punishment that push the rider and machine to the limit. If a bike has a weakness, hard enduro will find it.

Electric bikes keep ticking off the challenges that critics once said they couldn't handle.
A few years ago, plenty of riders reckoned e-dirt bikes were fine for short trails but wouldn't survive serious competition. Since then we've seen more electric machines appear in important races, tackle tougher terrain, and steadily build a track record in the real world e-dirt space.
Does one finish change everything? No. But every result chips away at the idea that electric off-road bikes aren't up to the job. For riders still sitting on the fence, that's worth paying attention to.
