USA Finally Gets the LiveWire ONE Price Cut Europe Got in March

America has finally caught up with Europe, with LiveWire slashing the price of the ONE by another $2,500.
The U.S. price is now down to $13,999, five months after UK and European riders saw their own major price cuts. Same bike, significantly less money.

Five Months Later, America Gets the Cut
Back in March, LiveWire cut the price of the ONE across Europe. In the UK, it dropped from £18,290 to £12,990. That's more than £5,000 off the asking price.
Now the U.S. is getting its turn. The LiveWire ONE is now listed at $13,999 in America, down from $16,499. That's a 15% cut.
That's a long way down from the $21,999 the ONE launched at in the U.S. And here's the thing: the bike itself hasn't changed. You're still getting the 15.5kWh battery, 75kW of peak power, 114Nm of torque and a claimed 110mph top speed.
LiveWire quotes up to 95 miles of combined range, but the bit we'd still pay attention to is the DC fast charging. It can take the battery from 0-80% in around 40 minutes. When the ONE launched, DC fast charging was still rare on electric motorcycles. Remarkably, it still is.
So this isn't a new version of the ONE. It's the same bike, just with a much smaller price tag. That's exactly what happened in Europe back in March, and the UK price remains £12,990 today. The new U.S. price finally brings American buyers much closer to what European riders have been paying for the last five months.
The BCB Take
Honestly, this is probably the price the ONE needed a lot sooner.
At more than $20,000, the ONE was a hard sell. You needed to really want an electric motorcycle to drop that sort of money on one. Especially when the bike launched, and buying electric still felt like more of a gamble than it does today.
At $13,999, the ONE starts to look very different. You're still looking at an expensive motorcycle, but you're now getting a proper 110mph electric motorcycle with a big battery, fast charging and plenty of torque for considerably less money.
Does it matter on the road? The bike hasn't changed, so no. Does it matter when you're standing in a showroom looking at the price tag? Absolutely.
Europe got the message in March. America has finally caught up.
