Positive Motorcycles is back on the radar, and this time the story is less about the EGERA itself and more about whether the Italian outfit can get riders on the road. The Lake Como startup says it is entering a pre-seed round after five years of self-funded R&D, with a validated prototype, identified distributors, secured suppliers and road testing up to 175 km/h (108 mph) already under its belt.
Forget the lecture hall. Forget the dissertation. You can spend a year designing, building and testing a real racing motorcycle, then take it to a circuit and race it against teams from around the world. All while studying a course completely unrelated to engineering.
