Beyond Bohemia: Rezōn's Plan for European Expansion

Czech electric motorcycle manufacturer Rezōn is preparing to take the Bohemia to a wider European audience, with the rollout expected to get underway in early 2027. It already has 21 retailer and distributor locations listed, but getting bikes into showrooms is only half the job.
Rezōn is also investing in production, storage and spare parts as it prepares to support customers across Europe.
Rezōn talked us through its plans at EICMA, where its stand was attracting plenty of public interest.

Getting the Bikes to Riders is Only Half the Job

Rezōn wants to build a dealer network right across Europe, and it looks like they're making decent progress. The company told us it had signed three more deals at EICMA, with two days of the show still to go. The UK is firmly on the radar too, with Rezōn already talking to a potential major UK retailer, but nothing has been signed yet.
Rezōn isn't expecting every dealer to fill a warehouse with motorcycles. Instead, retailers will have demonstration bikes for customers to see up close, while orders will be fulfilled directly by Rezōn. The company is putting money into production and storage so it can have bikes ready to go.

The same goes for spare parts. Rezōn says it will hold them in stock, so dealers aren't left waiting when a customer needs something repaired or replaced. Nobody wants their bike sitting in the garage for weeks while a dealer tries to track down a new set of grips.
There's a bit of history behind this. The team that originally established Alrendo later split from the Chinese company and went on to establish Rezōn as a completely separate business. Alrendo continues to operate independently as a Chinese electric motorcycle manufacturer, with a distributor in France. Rezōn told us that lessons learned from the Alrendo experience have helped shape its new business model. This time, the intention is to have the infrastructure in place before pushing into the European market.
Money in the Bank, Bikes in the Pipeline

Rezōn also told us it has now secured all the funding it needs, with the latest money going towards production and storage. That means building up a supply of motorcycles ready for European customers, rather than waiting for each order before starting the process. They haven't told us exactly how much funding they've received.
With the European rollout expected to start in early 2027, Rezōn now needs to turn those plans into something riders can actually buy into.
The BCB Take

We've seen plenty of electric motorcycle manufacturers turn up with impressive bikes, big promises and glossy specification sheets. Getting those bikes into customers' hands, keeping them on the road and supplying parts when things go wrong is where it gets harder.
The Bohemia certainly stands out on paper and in the showroom. It's a big bike with big numbers attached to it, and DC fast charging should help attract interest from riders. Putting the money into stock and production before going big in Europe is a solid start. But the real test comes when customers start ordering bikes, dealers need parts and owners need someone to pick up the phone.
Ride safe, folks.
