What happens when you give a step-through scooter 894Nm at the rear wheel?
Horwin's answer is the Senmenti ONE. With a 400V powertrain, fast charging and enough rider aids to make some motorcycles look basic, it's a long way from the commuter scooters the company built its name on.
The Numbers Are Bonkers

Horwin calls the Senmenti ONE (also known as the Senmenti O) an urban ADV. But it looks more like a rolling test bed for every bit of technology the company could get its hands on.
The 400V system is the biggest talking point. High-voltage platforms are still relatively rare in the e-moto world, but they bring real benefits for riders. Faster charging, improved efficiency, and the ability to handle more power without generating excessive heat.

Then there's the technology stack. Riders get adaptive cruise control, blind-spot monitoring, collision warnings, keyless operation, hill-hold assist, reverse gear, multiple ride modes and traction control. Kind of necessary when you’re dealing with 894Nm of torque.
It's no slouch either. Horwin claims a top speed of around 200 km/h (124 mph), putting it well beyond typical city-scooter duties and making faster roads a real option.

The BCB Take

Horwin isn’t the only brand chasing more tech. We’ve seen similar thinking with machines like the Ultraviolette Tesseract. In 2026 it feels like manufacturers are just as focused on software and sensors as they are on horsepower.
On the Senmenti ONE, some of that tech makes perfect sense. Fast charging, traction control and a claimed 200 km/h top speed are things riders can actually use. The rest starts to drift into the “let’s get a leg over before we judge it” category.
Because most riders don't wake up wondering if their bike has enough acronyms. They want decent range, quick charging and something that puts a grin on their face when they twist the throttle.
Ride sake, folks.
