Maeving says it’s now the UK’s best-selling electric motorcycle brand, citing March 2026 MCIA registration data. Those brand-level figures aren’t publicly broken out, so claims like this are hard to independently verify. But that’s not really the point.
What stands out is that a UK electric motorcycle brand is confident enough to make that claim in the first place.
The BCB Take

Let’s be honest, the UK’s e-moto rollout has been sluggish. Imports are expensive, rider numbers are thin, and most manufacturers haven’t fully shown up. Stack it against Europe and the UK is still near the back of the grid when it comes to brand access.
But Maeving has been in Coventry since 2018, steadily building momentum while the rest of the market figured itself out. Topping March doesn’t change much, but it does signal the UK e-moto space is active enough for claims to start carrying weight. That only happens when there are enough players in the race.
This isn’t a UK boom. It’s the formation of a structured market. Brands are settling into lanes, and competition is moving beyond one-off launches into something more territorial.
The UK e-moto grid is taking shape, and Maeving is already on it.
Ride safe, folks.
