No Drama, Just Wins: Zero at Biltwell 100 Again

For the last four years, Zero Motorcycles has been quietly turning up and walking away with results at the Biltwell 100. This year not much changed. Different riders, same outcome. Two bikes into the top spots and a clean sweep for a brand that’s starting to treat this event like home turf.
Sand, Dust, Repeat: Zero Does It Again at Biltwell
At the 2026 running, Zero locked in 1st and 2nd in the Electric Endurance class. Trevor Doniak, part of the prototype and test crew, took the win on a race-prepped Zero X line development machine, with teammate Michael Mattoch right behind him.

Both covered roughly 50 miles of brutal desert terrain, a proper Mojave punishment with rocks, dust, and the kind of fatigue that exposes every weak link on a bike.
The X line development is Zero Motorcycles’ dedicated off-road platform. The Biltwell race package brings in upgraded suspension from Sirris, aggressive knobby tyres, Acerbis handguards, and KKE foot pegs. Everything else is stripped down to reliability and control, hardware that can take a hit and keep moving. The race runs over two laps, with battery swaps allowed throughout.
By the end of it, the message was simple. Four years in a row, four wins in the Electric Endurance class for Zero at the Biltwell 100.

The desert doesn’t care what you ride. It cares that you can finish. That’s the whole point of the Biltwell 100, a race that strips things back to survival, skill, and whatever you bolted to the bike the night before.
What stands out this year isn’t just Zero's wins, it’s the consistency in a race where consistency is hard-earned. Four years of results suggests something simple: Zero has figured out how to make electric platforms survive punishment that still breaks plenty of ICE bikes. They’re doing more than winning this class, they’re setting the standard for what “finishing” actually looks like.
