DAB 1α: French Design that's Back to the Future
French outfit DAB has been making a serious play with its 1α street bike. Backed by Peugeot and carrying a growing list of custom collaborations under its belt, the 1α stands out as one of the better-built e-motos on the street right now. And in 2025, DAB will drop a Back to the Future–inspired version that we simply couldn’t ignore.

Ultraviolette: India’s Electric Motorcycle Pioneer
By December 2025, everyone knows the name Ultraviolette. It’s hard to believe it’s only been a year since they were an unknown gamble on European roads. But 2025 was a breakout year. The F77 Mach 2, F77 Super Street, and X47 all secured EU homologation, while the dealership network spread across multiple countries with pace.

Dust Moto Hightail: Born in the USA
Before Stark started smashing records and embarrassing petrol bikes on the global stage, electric dirt was already gathering momentum. Let’s be honest — electric drivetrains make sense off-road: instant, controllable torque and zero need for hundreds of road miles between charges.
Back in March, DUST Moto was quietly building its breakout machine: the Hightail. Designed and built in the USA by engineers who know how dirt works, it stood out for all the right reasons. We’re betting the Hightail will be throwing plenty of roost in 2026.

In 2025, we hit EICMA in Milan, MCL in Birmingham, and a bunch of other shows, bringing readers the top highlights from Europe’s biggest motorcycle exhibitions. 2025 was the biggest EICMA yet and our coverage came in two parts, capturing everything from cutting-edge e-moto tech to the bikes that turned heads on the floor.
